The first issue of cat+fish canned, a mini version of my high school’s paid student magazine.

I was the lead editor on cat+fish for two years, between Fall ‘23 and Spring ‘25. During that time, I was responsible for managing the internship, editing all visuals, handling social media and promotion, doing interviews, and generally making sure that everything ran properly.

The canned mini-magazine was created at the start of the 2024-25 school year as a means to generate interest in the club. It was half the size of the normal magazine and created by the core team only with an impressive 6-week turnaround. Within its 16 pages are short stories, literary essays, game reviews, and more.

While cat+fish canned features work from around 9 artists, all visuals shown here are mine.
